Award-winning musician Theo Thomson has finished working on his yet to be titled third album which will be released soon before its launch scheduled for September.
Currently, the musician has dropped a single titled Can We which speaks of a relationship on the brink of collapse with the man being remorseful and pleading with his woman to turn back the hands of time.
The single comes at a time when the musician has been absent from the music scene because of some projects he says consumed much of his time.
“I was busy crafting something different for my fans and followers. The album is done, now we are doing final runs on the singles, so we can propel the promotion of the collection with the right attitude and quality.
“Tentatively, we have set September as the month when I will launch and release month the yet to be named album. In a month, I shall release another single off the album and others will subsequently follow.
“With Can We, the video plans are on the ground, it should be ready in the next two months. For now, people should enjoy the audio,” said Thomson.
He said the album is a new journey which he wants to take and it constitutes more lively, soulful R&B music which is beyond what he has been working on for the past years.
“This project is dear to me that I have fully invested my art by expanding it. The collection speaks to the inner me and I am excited for people to get hold of it. I am also currently working with a band which I shall be performing with on my own solo shows and others,” said Thomson.
In a separate interview, the producer Samuel Nyasulu, also known as LeuMas, said: “The authenticity in the music will make it unique. We have tapped on some musical influences that made Theo feel at home. It has been an amazing journey.”
Thomson has two albums to his name, Gypsy which was released in 2010 and White Elephant dropped in 2017.
