Total Land care (TLC) has committed itself to plant over 1.2 million trees during this year’s tree planting season in Salima District.

TLC’s regional coordinator for the Centre, Richard Museka, said the move is in line with government’s effort to achieve sustainable forest resource management and utilisation.

Speaking during a tree planting ceremony on Friday in the district, Museka said TLC is only complementing governments’ effort in fighting climate change.
