Two MSB customers in shopping bonanza in Blantyre
It was all smiles for Joseph Kamwana and January Bwanali on Wednesday at Chichiri Shopping Centre’s Shoprite in Blantyre. The two had won K60 000 and K40 000 vouchers respectively in the final draw of the Malawi Savings Bank (MSB) Christmas Bonanza.
With the money, the two bought a variety of goods in a period of five minutes.
Kamwana, who sells lime at Liwonde, hailed MSB for the memorable day.
“This has never happened to me. I was excited when I was told that I won the prize,” he said.
On his part, Bwanali said he has always been an MSB customer but that he recently opened a Super Savings Account to enter the promotion.
“Since the promotion started, I have been banking my money three times a week to increase my chances of winning. I believe this is a New Year for the bank to me,” said Bwanali, a businessperson from Mbayani in Blantyre.
The promotion, which was launched on September 22 and ended on December 22, had monthly draws.
