The visiting Tamandani CCAP Choir from Mangochi left Ndirande-Kachere CCAP congregation on Sunday itching for more of its singing.

Ndirande-Kachere moderator, Reverend Enos Muhiwa described the visiting group mature and fantastic, saying the singing and dancing was amazing and admirable.

“The group is mature enough and it was prepared for the trip. We were blessed with their singing and the preaching by evangelist Florence Chapindula,” said Muhiwa.

Muhiwa also saluted the Kachere men’s choir for hosting the Mangochi Choir and taking it around to places of interest, including the Blantyre Synod premises.

Chairperson of the visiting choir, Laurent Kaphuka, described as ‘wonderful’ the hospitality accorded to them.

“The visit to Kachere will remain memorable. I believe we are not labouring in vain, but God has something for us. Let us continue working for His kingdom through the preaching of his word through the music ministry,” said Kaphuka.

The group arrived on Saturday morning and toured Blantyre Synod premises in the afternoon before members of the two choirs exchanged presents in a brief chisikileti ceremony in the evening.

The climax of the visit was on Sunday when the two churches and their respective choirs exchanged gifts before wrapping up the visit with a choir festival that raised over K90 000.
