No casualties in Malawi Cabinet reshuffle

Malawi President Peter Mutharika has made a minor reshuffle of his Cabinet. Mutharika did not drop any minister but only relocated ministers in three portfolios.

Atupele Muluzi, Bright Msaka and Paul Chibingu are the only ministers to have been relocated.

Muluzi, formerly at ministry of energy has been appointed Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security.

Bright Msaka, who was at Ministry of Lands, has been moved to become the new Minister of Natural Resources, Energy and Mining swapping seats with Paul Chibingu who will now be at the helm of the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development.

NEW CABINET LIST
His Excellency the State President, Professor Arthur Peter
Mutharika, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by
Section 94 (1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Malawi, has
made some changes to the Cabinet with effect from Friday,
10th April, 2015.
The new Cabinet is as follows:-
