Ex-Big Bullets chair Busile dies

Former Big Bullets chairperson William Busile died on Wednesday in Blantyre.

His brother James, who is the team’s board of trustees chairperson, confirmed the demise. He said the late Busile will be buried at his home in Lirangwe, Blantyre today.

Chairperson Kondi Msungama said the Bullets family is saddened by Busile’s death.

“We are shocked because he always offered fatherly advice to us and behind the scenes he was supporting the team financially and materially. Our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time,” said Msungama in a telephone interview from South Africa.

Busile served as BB chairperson in the 1990s.
