The Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement (CCRM) of the Blantyre Archdiocese, Malawi will from August 24 to 27 host an evangelisation rally at Limbe Cathedral ground.

Chairperson of the publicity committee Angel Banda said the rally is expected to be graced by Father Emmanuel Tusiime from Uganda.

Tusiime, who is CCRM coordinating priest for English speaking countries, will be assisted by Father Bernard Tiyesi.

Tiyesi is CCRM chaplain for Blantyre Archdiocese.

“The rally is expected to be held under the theme ‘Growing in Spirit’. Participants are expected to come closer to God with the powerful teachings of these anointed men of God.

“People should come in their large numbers to experience the mighty moving of the Holy Spirit that will see more people being healed and baptised by the Holy Spirit. Memories are fresh from the 2009 rally where many people renewed the commitment to the Lord and received the power of the Holy Spirit,” said Banda.

During the event, there will be healing sessions, teaching, sharing God’s word, deliverance and counselling, among other activities.
