Cow dung as insect repellent

Summer time brings with it incessant bugs and mosquitoes, which are always a nuisance to have around. Most people in rural areas use natural products such as cow dung to repel mosquitoes and other insects.

 

You will need:

Dry cow dung

A metal plate or tin for which you have no other use

Matches.

Method:

Place the dung in your plate or tin and light it up as you would a coil.

Exit the room and let it burn, just as coil would, for several minutes.
