Don’t say you weren’t told

Listen to this article

Dear judge Mbadwa,

My lord, praise singers of Tokha Are Liars must have been cursing the Non-Intelligence Economist Unit (NIU) for releasing its report now that shows how bumpy the road to 2025 is for the alliance.

It is not that NIU is telling us something Nyasas don’t know. The citizens have for some time known that the Tokha grouping stopped caring about ferrying them into the Promised Land a long time ago.

Their bus of promise broke down in some wilderness of confusion after their driver and assistant thought that they could conduct traffic instead of doing what they were hired for.

But you have to admire the courage of Figtree Mose by coming forward to say all is well, yet it is not.

Tokha Are Liars and their followers seem to be too intoxicated with power to notice that it will soon be dawn.

Just like the previous A-Fallmeter opinion poll, their reaction to the think tank’s forecast cemented the position that politicians and their blind followers will always think they are the best thing that has ever happened to mankind in the world of politics.

Who doesn’t know that the hitherto celebrated anti-corruption fight is now perceived as a charade?

People who had hope in Tokha after the frustrations of the Mapuya regime now feel let down.

But instead of looking at the report as a wake-up call for them to put their house in order, Tokha Are Liars are adamant that they are slowly leading Nyasaland to Canaan.

But my lord, the Tokha Are Liars and their loudmouths would be ignoring the NIU report and poll results at their own peril.

Is it stated that perception is everything and if Nyasas think Tokha is wasting their time, entering into denial of some form is not going to wish away that perception.

Sadly the People’s Demagogic Party (PDP) is no longer perceived as a viable alternative due to their excesses. They are yet to resolve internecine strife.

Surely, the citizens find themselves between a rock and a hard place.

I know that some voters are easily swayed, but the biggest battle our adamant leaders have is to convince the majority who don’t want to vote anymore because they think they are betrayed.

My lord, let Tokha Are Liars realise the honeymoon was over a long time ago and the days are slowly ebbing away towards 2025. Don’t say you weren’t told.

Regards,

John Citizen.
