Ensemble Travelling Theatre at HS WineHouse this evening

Ensemble Travelling Theatre will this evening stage its latest play The Imagination of Mind at HS WineHouse in Blantyre  starting from 7.30.

The theatre group will also be at the same venue tomorrow at 1.30pm to give a chance to people who might miss the stage play this evening.

The play has been written by the theatre group’s leader Chikondi Makina and Frank Naligonje, popularly known as A Tcheya in the poetry circles.

“The play is tackling current issues that our country is facing, such as HIV and Aids and victimisation. Some of the actors in the stage play include actresses Olivia Mkandawire and Sylvia Layisani,” said Makina.

The Imagination of Mind is Ensemble Travelling Theatre’s third production. The first one was The Broken Covenant produced in 2013 and the second was Thorns in the Heart produced in 2016.n
