Entertainers Promotions has intensified marketing of its products ahead of this year’s three concerts, starting with the return of Reggae by Foot Concert slated for April 29 at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.

Entertainers Promotions director Tonderai Banda said in an interview on Sunday that his company has lined up three major events this year.

Banda: We are promoting the entertainment industry

Apart from Reggae by Foot, they include Gospel Sound and Light to be held at BAT Ground in Blantyre on April 15 and the three-day Sound and Light Concert at Sunbird Livingstonia in Salima from September 29.

“This year, we are strictly focusing on these projects to give Malawians the best entertainment with professional sound and advanced stage.

“As Entertainers Promotions, we are not only looking at promoting the country’s entertainment industry with professional sound and stage, but also uplifting artists by hiring their services. We fully understand that music is a profession and our desire is to create employment for artists,” said Banda.

The comeback of Reggae by Foot will be headlined by South Africa’s fallen reggae star Lucky Dube’s One People’s Band and its Thuthukani Cele.

“This will act as get together for African countries to celebrate their oneness, love and culture,” said Banda

Meanwhile, Entertainers Promotions has branded bottled water to prop up ticket sales ahead of the three shows.

“Marketing and distribution deal is currently underway to supply the product in all leading stores across the country,” said Banda.
