Fuji Kasipa is back with Main Switch
After being silent for over six years without releasing any album, renowned musician Fuji Kasipa is back with a new album titled Main Switch.
The local love music singer, who has previously released albums such as Male Golide, Uzingonenepa, Wanga Yemweyo and Wankhwiru Wanga said the new album is packed with what he called mature love songs befitting the youth and married couples.
He said the 10-track album is expected to be out by mid-February this year. Kasipa disclosed that it will be released on both DVD and audio tapes.
“I was silent because I wanted to prepare good love music that will bring happiness to all my beloved fans. I have engaged various talented artists such as Njati Njedede. It is my expectation and hope that my music will transform and touch many hearts in as far as love is concerned. It is my strong belief that Malawians will not regret when they buy it,” said Kasipa.
Kasipa, who made his name with Ukanene in 2006, said he has included love songs which encourage people to go for HIV and Aids testing while in a relationship before they get to marry each other.
“Through my music, I am encouraging Malawians to stop gender-based violence in families and maintain understanding, as well as, trust to
their loved ones,” he said.
