Kapalamula B CCAP Choir of Chambwe in Kasungu is in dire financial straits to afford it an album release of 10 ready songs.

Chairperson of the group Cosmas Banda said in an interview this week that the choir needs about K150 000 for the project. He said members have tried to fund raise but experienced difficulties.

“You will appreciate that we are a village-based choir. The most reliablebinitiatives for raising finances is through piece-works such weeding or moulding bricks. Unfortunately, this has not helped us raise the needed amount,” he said.

Banda said the choir had planned to release their debut album in June this year. He appealed to the well-wishers for help.
