Lulu: We are doing this to help

He had told the patrons that he had a surprise for them before taking a small break only to introduce the once upon a time one-popular gospel musician Dustain Kapitapita.

After Kapitapita’s performance, Kanema Online representatives made a donation of K500 000 as other viewers also made their contributions via mobile money and National Bank accounts.

Fans hailed Lulu’s initiative saying it came at the right time and with a good approach.

“We needed to be reminded that we still have hope. I hope another artist can actually go and entertain survivors in camps,” wrote Beyard Lifa on Lulu’s official Facebook page which was live streaming the event.

Other musicians who performed in support of Lulu were Moses Makawa and gospel musician Kondwani Chirwa.

At the end of the event, the musician raised K1 050 million. Meanwhile, fans continue to make contributions via National Bank account 586838 and Airtel Money 0999100196.
