Moliati: I am set to end his career

The 12-round non title fight has been sponsored by Katengeza Boxing Promotions of Lilongwe.
“He is talking a lot, undermining my name. I am set to end his boxing career this week. He will never wear boxing gloves again when I am done with him on Sunday. He should be concentrating on a coaching career not fighting anyone. He is past his prime,” said a charged Moliati.
He said after the fight his focus will be on title bout against Salimu Chazama scheduled for August 30.
“I have an important fight in August. What I will do to Adams will be a message to Salimu to never dare me. I have been out of action for some time and people think I am not good anymore but I will demonstrate that I am the  best,” he said.
The title fight has been sponsored by New Dawn Boxing Promotions.
But Adams insisted that he is still in shape and looking ahead to beating Moliati.
“Promoters have been sidelining me for a long time thinking I am not in shape anymore. But I have been training hard and this offers me an opportunity to claim my status as a thriving boxer. I will win this fight and be eligible for a title fight against Salimu Chazama. It is something I am looking forward to. If Moliati underestimates me it is at his own peril,” said Adams.
Meanwhile, another MDF boxer Osgood Kayuni is set to travel to South Africa in August for a fight. n
