Naotcha CCAP Main Choir is today holding a farewell party ahead of a trip to Lilongwe and Mzuzu where it will launch CD and DVD collections.

The choir’s music director Gift Tseka said the first and main launch will be on August 26 at Sheaffer International Conference Centre in Lilongwe, followed by another launch at Katoto Secondary School main hall in Mzuzu on September 2.

“We have invited several choirs to be with us as we will be travelling to the Central and Northern regions.

“We will be accompanied by Thocco Katimba and Lloyd Phiri as our guest artists at both shows. They will also attend the party we are holding at our church in Blantyre,” said Tseka.

He promised fireworks at both shows in Lilongwe and Mzuzu as well as today’s farewell party in Blantyre.

“We want our fans to feel that their money was well spent,” said Tseka.

Director of the choir Gilbert Manda said the group is prepared for both shows to give the best to its fans.

“I have been with the choir for some time and I know what it means to be on stage. My appeal is for people to come in large numbers and enjoy our singing.

“Naotcha is a mature singing group and knows what to do on the stage. People will not regret watching us,” said Manda.
