NBS Bank plc says it is taking its digital transformation efforts to the next level with the recent upgrade of its mobile banking platform to ensure that customers are rewarded for embracing the digital platforms.

Speaking during the launch of Easy Bank 3.0 in Blantyre on Thursday, NBS Bank plc chief executive officer (CEO) Kwanele Ngwenya said the innovation is part of the bank’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the customer experience through the upgraded mobile platform with seamlessly integrated payment systems.

Ngwenya: Easy Rewards brings exciting incentives

He said: “This strategic move by NBS Bank plc not only showcases our dedication to keeping up with evolving digital trends, but also highlights our commitment to rewarding and empowering our valued customers in the digital era.

“With Eazy Rewards, customers can look forward to exciting incentives like funeral benefit cover, instant loans within 10 minutes, Mukuru transactions and bill payments as they embrace the convenience of digital banking.”

Ngwenya said through this initiative, customers will stand a chance to have coffee with the CEO, 10 percent discount on payment channels, a private banking experience, skip the queue voucher, NBS Bank plc bill payment of K10 000 and assorted freebies.

One of the bank’s customers, Wisely Phiri, commended the Malawi Stock Exchange-listed bank for its innovative digital banking solutions, asserting that it stands head above competitors due to seamless transaction experience. “NBS Bank’s digital platform has proven to be hassle-free and user-friendly, making it a standout choice in the market,” he said.
