The striker, who joins on the injury list compatriots Robin Ngalande and Robert Ng’ambi, has since posted on his Facebook account his photograph with a bandaged head, adding that he was now feeling better.

Eleazar Rodgers’ 87th minute header grabbed the winner for Stars who moved up to 12th while AmaTuks remain seventh in the 16-member league.

Still on Wednesday, Limbikani Mzava was solid in Bloemfontein Celtic defence as they claimed a fourth successive win when they beat SuperSport United 1-0 at Free State Stadium, through Alfred Ndengane’s goal.

The result sees the Celtic remain sixth with 33 points from 22 matches. SuperSport drop to 10th on 27 points from 22 matches.

In another game, Ngalande missed Ajax Cape Town’s 2-1 win over Black Aces at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday evening when the hosts scored through Nathan Paulse and Jomo Gumede’s goals.

Second-half goals by Ashraf Hendricks and substitute Lerato Chabangu handed Moroka Swallows a 2-1 win over Free State Stars at Dobsonville Stadium.

Both teams are fighting relegation with Swallows lying 15th on the 16 member table on 19 points while Kinnah Phiri’s men remain at position 13 with 22 points. Free State are winless in over five games.
