The Queens are expected to start camp training in Blantyre this weekend.

“We will require K100 million to participate in the tournament. The amount includes preparation costs.

“In spite of government’s assurance to fund the trip, we still need more financial support from the corporate world,” said Bapu.

The Queens will participate in the global netball showpiece without playing a friendly match.

The Following is the list of players called up for training: Caroline Mtukule-Ngwira, Towera Vinkhumbo-Nyirenda, Joana Kachilika, Grace Mwafulirwa-Mhango, Martha Dambo, Lauren Ngwira, Juliet Sambo, Ta-kondwa Lwazi, Thandi Galeta, Rose Saili, Rose Mkanda, Shira Dimba, Bridget Kumwenda, Mwawi Kumwenda, Sindi Simtowe, Ellen Chibokho, Joyce Mvula, Cecilia Mtukule, Jane Chimaliro and Jessica Ma-zengera-Sanudi.
