Saxess finds ‘Chikondi’

Gospel artist Saxess has released a song, Chikondi, in which he talks of God’s unconditional love towards the universe.

The latest single featuring Mada Faziri dwells on praising heavenly powers for the blessings, salvation and protection bestowed on human beings.

In an interview, Saxess, born Nehemiah Mazunda said he strives to praise God wholeheartedly as His love endures even before creation.

“He has been there regardless of our shortfalls in this patch of life. God has sailed us through difficult times and continues to care for our needs. We are from Him and he deserves the praise,” he said.

The Inuyo Yesu hitmaker said he deliberately compared God’s love to some of the world features to easily enable people appreciate His deeds.

“God’s love is like gold, a very expensive fine stone. It is also like an ocean that one sees only the beginning, not the end,” he said.

One of his fans, Gift Mkulichi, updated his Facebook status in praise of the new song.

“I believe that I am the only one who has listened to the song over 120 times within two days. God should bless you [Saxess] with more wisdom to come up with spirit-filled songs,” he wrote.

The possible hit song was produced by Chance of Mwanie Studio in Lilongwe. n
