Shops close on Eid

Yesterday, Muslims in Malawi and worldwide celebrated Eid-ul-Adha, the slaughtering of animals that coincided with the Pilgrimage in Mecca. During such days, Muslims-owned shops are closed as seen in the picture. The idea is meant to let people of the Msulism religion celebrate the day.
