Former Malawi Big Brother house representative Sipe will join award-winning hip hop artist Gwamba in a charity event dubbed Feed the Streets Campaign which aims at cheering homeless children in Lilongwe and sharing food with them.

In an interview with The Nation, Sipe said she decided to join hands with Gwamba out of her compassion for children.

sipe“If there is anyone helping out these kids then I would like to be part of it. I would like to be the one making a difference,” she said.

On whether she will continue with charity, the Big Brother Hotshots finalist said she is taking one day at a time and in due course she will decide on whether to continue with charity.

The event which was slated for Christmas day was shifted to today.

Gwamba said he shifted the event because many committee members of the charity event were engaged with family gatherings on Christmas Day.

“The other reason is that there were already many charity events in town so we thought of shifting it to today,” said Gwamba.

In October, the artist together with Nesnes, held a motivational talk to pupils at Chichiri Secondary School in Blantyre.
