Ex-Flames striker Spy Msiska was discharged from Mzuzu Central Hospital (MCH) on Monday after being admitted for three weeks.

Msiska was last month involved in an accident in Nkhata Bay. Two people died on the spot, three others died hours later at the hospital while scores were treated as outpatients.

Football Association of Malawi (FAM) vice-president Moses Mkandawire together with some Northern Region Football Committee members cheered Msiska while he was in hospital.

Msiska’s wife, Pamela Flora Munthali, confirmed on Tuesday that her husband is now out of hospital.

“He is now feeling better and has been discharged. We thank all those that gave us spiritual and moral support,” she said.
