Tay Gin invited to Lusaka July 2023

Rapper Tay Grin says he is excited to attend the Lusaka July, a prestigious Zambian social event that blends fashion with polo.

“It is a platform to showcase our fashion, culture and to network. This is the first time I have been invited and it is remarkable to go as a special guest,” said the rapper.

Tay Grin said it is an honour to be recognised for his sense of fashion that fuses a lot of elements from Malawian culture.

“A lot of the fashion I wear is made locally and I work hand in hand with a lot of Malawian designers such as Chris base, Bucci, Christian Entwan, Xandria and Ranks45, just to mention a few,” he said.

The rapper said he has started consultations and has called on all designers that he works with.

“We are crafting ideas as we speak. We have enough time to put together something unique that represents who we are. There will be a lot of international media and Malawi has to rule the red carpet,” said Tay Grin.

In a letter we have seen, PR Girl Media Limited has invited Tay Grin to attend this year’s Lusaka July scheduled for September 3.

“As one of Africa’s shining stars with an undeniable presence in the fashion industry, we would be honoured to host you at the 8th edition of the event dubbed Africa’s biggest ‘Day of Fashion’ as it attracts multiple personalities from across the continent in an afternoon of networking, fashion and glamour,” reads the letter in part.
