Mobile service provider TNM plc unveiled a Tikolore music video for their just-ended Tikolore promotion.

The video has brought together three powerful artists from the old and new generations in the names of Phungu Joseph Nkasa, new kid on the block Eli Njuchi and emerging songstress Leslie.

Nkasa (L), Eli Njuchi (C) and Leslie captured in the video

The three did the song in celebration of the promotion and the song was unveiled courtesy of a live performance during the launch of the promotion in Lilongwe at Bingu International Convention Centre.

The video is a reflection of the theme of the promotion as it depicts happy faces of the artists enjoying earnings from their toil. Eli Njuchi plays a carpenter while Nkasa is a hard-working farmer.

The pressure of working with two well-known artists in Nkasa and Eli Njuchi was not something that Leslie could escape, but she said it was a challenge she welcomed positively.

Leslie said: “It was overwhelming working with Nkasa. I did not see it coming. And the combination with Eli Njuchi was just amazing. It was like working with a living legend and a legend-in-the-making.”

TNM plc brand and communications manager Limbani Nsapato said the promotion was one way of showing appreciation to their customers for choosing TNM as their communications and digital services provider.

“The promotion was a celebration of the harvest season. This is the time when the country’s highly agricultural populace starts to reap fruits of their labour in the fields. TNM plc being a true son of the soil, joined the celebration because of who we are,” he said.

Since April 1, TNM plc  has unveiled 23 winners who have walked away with K1 million each. Last Thursday, the company unveiled the last seven winners as the promotion came to a close.
