TNM first week raises K6 million

A detailed financial account of the first nine matches played in the first week of the 2014-15 TNM Super League season has shown that K6 267 625 was collected across the country.

According to Super League of Malawi (Sulom) treasurer Tiya Somba-Banda, all the teams involved shared K2 488 189 (US$5 924.3) representing 40 percent of the total collection.

K1 244 095 (US$2 962) (20 percent of the total collection) went to ground owners while Sulom’s share was only K461 050 (US$1 098) (seven percent of the collection).
