Mobile communication service providers TNM plc has pumped K5 million towards hip hop artist Phyzix’s Mountain Goat Concert slated for July 13 in Mzuzu.

The company said the sponsorship is a continuation of the partnership they have with the artist, which started with the support they provided for the first Mountain Goat album launch at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre last year.

As part of the partnership, people will be able to buy tickets for the July 13 concert using the TNM plc Mpamba e-ticketing platform.

TNM plc head of brand and marketing Madalitso Jonazi said the sponsorship highlights the company’s commitment to celebrating and empowering local talent.

“We are delighted to join forces with Phyzix once again for what promises to be an extraordinary musical show. Our partnership demonstrates our commitment to leveraging technology to create possibilities, change lives and connect people through music,” he said.

Jonazi said through the collaboration, they are fostering cultural enrichment and connectivity through music and technology. He said the concert presents an opportunity for the mobile company to engage with people in Mzuzu.

He said: “We have a wide range of products that are tailored to suit Malawians of different ages, but concerts like Mountain Goat present a good platform for TNM to connect with specifically the youth and offer them more appealing and pocket friendly products such as Agulu bundles.”

In his reaction, the Cholapitsa hit-maker thanked the company, saying the support will help him deliver a good concert in Mzuzu.

“After sponsoring my Mountain Goat album launch last year, I am very thrilled that Tnm plc has come again and sponsored my upcoming concert in Mzuzu. We are cementing the brands’ mutual connection,” said Phyzix.

The concert comes six months after Phyzix launched his 15th studio album Mountain Goat last year in December at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre.
