Zodiak partners Lawi on new music video

Afro-Soul musician Lawi, is working on a music video of Life is Beautiful.

Released last December, the album continues to enjoy the attention of music lovers.

The shooting of the music video, which will start soon comes after the artist released motion pictures for The Whistling Song some months ago.

“We, the Mango Band are making the video for Life is Beautiful courtesy of Zodiak Television Station which is paying all expenses for the project. We have done the scripts and everything is ready. What we are waiting for is for the sponsor to get their team ready,” said the artist in an interview.

However, the artist was evasive as regards who will be featured in the music video, simply stating: “we have a surprise.”

“The video showcases the beauty in Malawi; the life, landscape and all the beauty. We are touring the country as we will have other scenes in Nkhata Bay, Mangochi, Lilongwe, Blantyre and further south.

“We want to bring about the best visual on this one since we have no limitations as the song is titled Life is Beautiful. I would like to take time and show the beauty in our country. I think from a tourism point of view the song can sell the country well. So we are looking at creating the best suiting visuals. Hopefully we capture exactly what we are looking for,” he explained.

Other than the Malawi market, Lawi is looking at potential fans from across the border.

“I am definitely setting my eyes on international television channels through the DStv platform. We look at reaching that far and beyond,” he mused.

However, Zodiak says other details including how much will be spent on the music video are still being worked on.
