Zomba youths in vegetable fund raising

In an effort to make their group financially independent, youths from Chinamwali CCAP in Zomba have embarked in commercial vegetable farming.

The Group’s chairperson Brian Chiwandira said youths have roles to play in transforming their churches spiritually and financially by utilising resources and energy God gave them.

“We are growing vegetables to enable us run programmes without waiting for support from our elders,” he said.

Apart from making money, he said youths are learning skills, which they can use for personal development.
