“These people were seen loading eight ammunitions in a magazine of ten, into a pistol bearing serial number ADP 3480 A,” said Chitowe.

The three were travelling in a Honda Fit motor vehicle registration   NE 448.

“We had to use force to seize the vehicle and took it to the station where after a search, the gun was found and the three were taken in for questioning before they were locked up,” he said.

According to Chitowe, the three will appear in court soon to answer charges of illegal possession of firearm.
