Victory Christian Gang, commonly known as CG based at Malawi College of Health Sciences in Blantyre on Saturday held a body mass index (BMI) check-up to raise funds for their camp.

Chairperson of the group, Dickson Paul Sambo said, among other things, they plan to buy equipment for the youth ministry at the camp.

“When we have such fundraising activities, we normally raise not less than K50 000 ($100). This money helps us when we have big events such as youth conferences.

“Our vision this year is ‘Run with the vision for the days are bad and bring as much as possible to the kingdom of God’,” said Sambo.

He said the youth are fighting the devil who wants to devour many while they want to win much to the kingdom of God.

Outside Metro Shop—the team checked people’s blood pressure (BP), and body mass.

The chairperson said the youth wing supports itself hence coming to the shop because they do not want to engage in malpractices.

“We are running the race, according to Joel 2: 28, which says: ‘The elderly shall dream dreams and the youth see visions’. We want to be the future visionary leaders, hence clinging to the Lord while young,” said Sambo.
