Cosmos unveil ‘exciting’ Mhone, Sulumba
Jomo Cosmoson Thursday unveiled their new eight acquisitions, including Malawians Micium Mhone and Muhamad Sulumba, with the South Africa Premiership club boss describing them as exciting.
“We have signed some very exciting players. Watch out,” Jomo Sono was quoted as saying on the club’s website after the unveiling at Sandton, Johannesburg.
The new signings include a third foreigner Uhuru Seleman from Tanzania where he used to play for Simba.
The rest of new catches namely Sibusiso Mdamba, Pako Mahaabo, Michael Gumede, Conrad Madolo and Mxolisi Macuphu are South Africans.
Mhone joins Cosmos from Blue Eagles whereas Sulumba has come from Blantyre United via Be Forward Wanderers where he was on a season-long loan.
Wanderers want compensation following the striker’s exit before the end of the loan spell that cost some K750 000 ($1500).
