Dwangwa, Max Bullets sniff promotion

The Southern Region Football Association’s Nsejjere League and Central Region Football Association’s Chipiku League battle for promotion to the TNM Super League could be over this weekend.

In the Chipiku League, Dwangwa United need just four points from their two weekend fixtures for them to be crowned champions.

They lead the table with 76 points from 34 games followed by Support Battalion with 68 points from the same number og games.

Nsundwe United are on third position with 65 points from 34 games as well.

Dwangwa will host Wimbe United at Chitowe on Saturday before playing away to Kasungu Medicals.

In the Southern Region, the battle is between Max Bullets and Cobbe Barracks.

Max Bullets lead the table with 79 points and can be declared champions if they collect three points from their two weekend fixtures.

Max Bullets face Prison United at Sedi on Saturday before they play Zomba United on Sunday.

Second-placed Cobbe Barracks face Zomba United and Sparc Hawks on Saturday and Sunday respectively. n
