Malamulo SDA Hospital celebrates 100 years

Malamulo Mission Hospital of the Seventh Day Adventist Church will on Tuesday celebrate 100 years of its existence at Malamulo in Thyolo.

The celebrations’ organising committee secretary, Kenneth Nyoni, disclosed the news when he visited Nation Publications Limited offices in Blantyre last Thursday.

Nyoni said the celebrations will start with a gospel concert at Malamulo Church on Monday.

“We are expecting to have a football match between Blantyre and Malamulo SDA churches. Special invitations have been sent to all who once worked at the hospital, all alumni of the training college, those who were once admitted to the hospital and all well-wishers,” said Nyoni.

The hospital does not only serve people of Thyolo, but also from other parts of the country.

Meanwhile, the celebrations organising committee is appealing for financial assistance from far and wide to enable the hospital to continue healing the sick and assisting the poor
