Brave Hearts vice-chairperson Daudi Usseni said the two Tanzania basketball teams will play a series of games against their male and female counterparts.

Meanwhile, Basketball Association of Malawi (Basmal) general secretary Edgar Ng’ong’ola has welcomed the initative.

“I commend Nozobal and Brave Hearts for organising such international friendly games. It is through such games that our standard of play can improve,” he said.

Meanwhile, Carlsberg Malawi has donated bottled water for the tournament.

“We are happy that Carlsberg Malawi has spiced up the occasion by donating bottled water. The games will motivate the youths to embrace the sport, and at the same time, add value to our league,” said Jere.
