At least 80 golfers have registered to contest in the 2017 edition of Britam Golf Tournament scheduled for Blantyre Sports Club (BSC) tomorrow.
BSC golf captain Sam Mwale yesterday said the contest will tee-off at 6am to ensure that all the registered golfers are incorporated in the over-subscribed event.

“We will be strict on tee-off time and urge all the registered golfers to arrive at the venue on time,” he said.
According to Britam marketing and product development manager Serena Nkhoma, the insurance company has organised the annual golf tournament to interact with existing and prospective clients.
“Apart from engaging golfers in a sport they love, we would also use the event as a platform to get views from our clients on the services we offer. Putting together decision makers, who mostly play golf, is essential in helping us know how people appreciate our services,” she said. n
