“Our fans should expect the best from Ma Blacks. We will soon start recording and we expect the album to be done by June,” said Anjiru.

He said that they will take their annual vacation from January 4 although they will not record the album this time.

“During our vacation we want to rest and focus on our personal issues, but when we come back we are going to start recording. Usually, we don’t take a vacation to record. We record as we perform.  The album might be recorded in about four studios. We have selected some and we are still contemplating on the others,” said Anjiru.

The Kuyimba sequel started with Evison Matafale in 2000 when he released Kuyimba 1, which had Watsetsereka as its hit song, followed by Kuyimba 2 released before his tragic death in 2001.

Anjiru and Musamude Fumulani took over the main microphone of the band until 2007 when Musamude lost a battle with tuberculosis, leaving leadership of the band to Anjiru.
