Burning Spear jets in tomorrow
Local coordinators of the Burning Spear One People Africa Tour have confirmed that the reggae legend will jet in the country tomorrow ahead of his highly anticipated show at Civo Stadium on Saturday.
The event, coordinated and organised by Sound Addicts Live and Born Afrikan Productions, is creating a buzz among fans eager to witness the iconic artist perform on Malawi soil.

In an interview, Sound Addicts Live founder Shadreck Kalukusha said Burning Spear, real name Winston Rodney, will arrive via Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe.
“He is landing in the country tomorrow at 3pm with his band of 18 people. We are inviting everybody to join us on the procession from the airport,” he said.
Kalukusha also they have organised a Meet and Greet session on Friday at Sunbird Capital in Lilongwe.
“The Meet and Greet is an exclusive event that we have organised for people who want to see Burning Spear up close, take photos with him and watch him do some acoustic performances,” he said.
The session is limited to 100 guests at K250 000, including a gourmet three course meal.
Commenting on the same, South Africa based Born Afrikan said the show will be one to remember for Malawi.
“We have done the groundwork and we are ready. We can feel the excitement from Malawians because we are receiving overwhelming feedback,” he said.
The Marcus Garvey singer has above 20 recorded albums and has earned multiple Grammy Awards throughout his five decade-long musical career.
