Agri-Courier donates to Friends of Limbani

Agri-Courier Limited on Monday donated a cheque worth K100 000 to Friends of Limbani, an initiative setup to raise funds to support ailing journalist Limbani Moya to travel to India for kidney transplant.

The veteran journalist was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2012 and has been receiving treatment at various hospitals in Malawi and South Africa. But he now needs about K15 million to travel to India for kidney transplant.

The money will be used for air travel, consultation, treatment, admission and other expenses, according to the initiative’s chairperson Anthony Kasunda.
