Area 36 Anglican Choir releases DVD

Lilongwe-based gospel outfit Area 36 Anglican Choir has released its first ever 10-track DVD titled Ndani Awo.

The choir’s director of music Steve Nthala disclosed this in an interview on Thursday.

He said the title of the DVD is derived from the Holy Bible where people such as Stephen, Job, and Elijah stood firm by God despite many temptations from Satan.

“I cannot pre-empt everything but the message can be got in full when people watch the DVD. We have songs likeWapelewela, Ndifuna Kusintha, Ndimvera Mau Abwino and Mundifungatile. I composed all the tracks and let me thank all those who assisted us in coming up with the DVD,” he said.

He added that the audio was aptly done at RHEM Studios with the able hands of Noel Bandelous whereas the music videos in the DVD were shot by Selemani Njoka of Mbadwo Videos.
