Barman wins K500 000 in Premier Loto game

Zomba-based barman Chisomo Rafik won K500 000 in Premier Loto game with a K100 stake.

The 26-year-old said this was his first attempt at the game, which saw him correctly predicting four lucky numbers in the Loto 5/90 game.

“I bought a ticket at Jumbe Market in Blantyre after being enticed by a friend. I am really excitingly surprised with the win and I will continue playing the game,” he said.

PremierBet Malawi commercial manager Nawar Jarakj said the development has come at a time the company is running a Premier Loto Zone promotion until July end.

He has since urged the public to engage in responsible betting by ensuring they do not use money meant for their basic necessities.
