Despite an announcement last Sunday that the Big Brother Africa live eviction shows will take place in Lilongwe this week, MultiChoice Malawi and Airtel have decided to host the live eviction at Steers Garden in Blantyre.

MultiChoice Malawi marketing manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda said the change in venue was due to the fact that this weekend Lilongwe will be busy with Independence Day celebrations while Blantyre will be quieter.

Several activities as well as the main function to celebrate Malawi’s 49th independence have been organised in Lilongwe this weekend.

“We decided it will be better to have the live eviction show this week in Blantyre and shift back to Lilongwe next week,” said Nyirenda.

He said there will be a BBA special offer for DStv and GOtv at the BBA live eviction at Steers Garden this Sunday. A DStv decoder will sell at K32 999, DStv full set down by K5 000 at K50 000 and a GOtv Set selling at K35 500.
