Big Bullets make K4.5m in six weeks

Big Bullets have underlined their credentials as the People’s Team after becoming the first club to hit the SMS 100 000 mark in the TNM Sapota Mapeto promotion that has earned them K1 million (about $2 631).

Apart from the K1 million reward, Bullets have also earned about K3.5 million (about $11 842) in the past six weeks bringing their total revenue to almost K4.5 million.

Bullets’ cross-town rivals Mighty Wanderers came second with a total revenue of K1.7 million while Silver were third on K520 000.

TNM public relations manager Limbani Nsapato and his marketing colleague Madalitso Jonazi announced this on Tuesday.

Bullets marketing manager Dan Mbebuwa said: “Considering our claims that we have millions of supporters scattered across the country, we can make K5 million in just a month,” said Mbebuwa.

He also said with the introduction of a programme on Matindi Radio Station called ‘Big Bullets Sports Corner’, which is aimed at wooing supporters to take part in such initiatives, they are confident of meeting their targets.

Jonazi said hey are excited that their initiative to help teams earn more money through the Sapota Mapeto promotion.

” We want supporters of other teams to emulate Bullets fans and generate more funding,” said Jonazi.
