Umodzi Park, owners of Bingu International Convention Centre, have announced the replacement of legendary Awilo Longomba with four local artists namely Faith Mussa, Patience Namadingo, Kell Kay and Lulu.

Umodzi Park marketing manager Matamando Chagunda said they had to come up with a quick replacement after Awilo Longomba faces some challenges to make it on December 31.

“We at Umodzi Park pride ourselves as the friends of arts. We cannot enter the 2023 without a grand arts event. We, therefore, quickly came up with the four local artists that we know are popular with Malawians,” she said.
