Black Leopards determined to keep Harry

Listen to this article

Black Leopards are determined to extend the contract of Flames defender Harry Nyirenda, the South Africa Premier League’s local representative Kondie Msungama has said.

“I spoke to the club chairperson David Thidiela and he stressed that they will do all they can to keep Harry. They value him,” Msungama said on Friday.

There were doubts on Nyirenda’s future with Leopards following his recent refusal to renew his three-year deal ending this August.

His refusal to commit to the contract extension led to his being dropped from a recent playing squad.

The former Mighty Wanderers captain is the only survivor at Leopards, who in the last two years, have off loaded Fischer Kondowe, David Banda and Benard Harawa.
