Blackjak hints at solo album

He has been dropping singles non-stop, back to back from the controversial Wadya Iwe and Indetu to lots more.

The artist is back with the newly leaked Wandikodonya which brims with rhyming and lyrics tailored for the youth.

In an interview, the dancehall artist said the seemingly endless singles’ string is meant to flex his muscles as he readies for his first solo album slated for release next month.

 “The singles are there  to show music fans how versatile I am and to keep up with time as I was waiting for  the completion of my first studio album,” said the singer.

He hinted that the album’s title will be Che-Kalonda and it features Lilongwe-based dancehall star Mafunyeta.

 “I thought of doing something with Mafunyeta because I appreciate his creativity,” disclosed Blackjak.

The album is fashioned by a variety of producers, including Yesaya, Pro-Pee and DJ Snowky Smoke.

Blackjak (real name Fatsani Kalonda) shot to fame with the defunct Nyasa Guruz.
