FCB Nyasa Bullets’ fresh consignment of 3 000 replica jerseys has arrived in the country ahead of their CAF Champions League second round tie against TP Mazembe of Democratic Republic of Congo, the club has announced.

The TNM Super League defending champions ordered the new consignment after the first one sold out just a day before they hosted Dragon FC of Equatorial Guinea in Confederaton of African  Football (CAF) Champions League preliminary first round at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.

Bullets chief executive officer Suzgo Nyirenda in an interview confirmed that the replica jerseys consignment had arrived.

He said: “They arrived through Dedza border post and will be cleared by our agent so that they can be distributed to our outlets immediately.”

Bullets qualified for the CAF Champions League second round on a 3-0 aggregate, having won 2-0 away in Malabo,  Equatorial Guinea on August 20 and 1-0 at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe last week.

The People’s Team now host TP Mazembe on September 15 while the second leg is set for Lubumbashi on September 29.

FCB Nyasa Bullets Supporters Committee general secretary Archibald Kasakura said they will ensure the replicas are in stock across the country as soon as possible.

“Most of our fans are asking for the jerseys on daily basis and we should assure them that we will stock them in all regions to give chance to people across the country,” he said.
