Bullets pos tover K60m in pre-season replica sales
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have already posted over K60 million in new replica shirts sales before the 2025 season kicks off.
Bullets chief executive officer Albert Chigoga in an interveiw said they are impressed with how the new designs are selling on the market
“The new design has triggered overwhelming demand that has exceeded our expectation. We are increasingly running out of stock as the season is about to kick off.

“Good news is that we are frantically working to bring new stock in good time. We had ordered 2 500 jerseys during preseason and so far we have sold 91.7 percent of the first consignment,” he said.
The demand is likely to increase as the season kicks off next week with fans looking to show their support for their favourite teams.
Surprisingly for Bullets, the third grey away kit is selling more than the traditional red and white kit, according the club’s marketing manager Kelvin Moyo.
“It is true the third grey away kit is the biggest attraction on the market. The mass market is currently dominated by a younger generation which is willing to adopt to change that is relevant,” he said.
To ensure that they meet the demand, Moyo said they have already ordered a new consignment.
“We could not flood the market at once. We needed to look at the market dynamics like which colours are the majority supporters interested in.
“So, there is need to introduce the jerseys in phases so that we plan appropriately. Currently, we have less than 2 000 in stock out of the 5000 we ordered. The next consignment will consist of 5 000 jerseys,” he said.
Bullets’ focus has been on replicas and they are yet to venture into scarves, golf shirts or caps.
Meanwhile, Mighty Wanderers are yet to introduce their new designs on the market due to some technical hitches, according to their marketing manager Grayson Chapita.
“We should have the first consignment of the new designs as we are kicking off the league.
“Apart from the jersey this time around we are expanding our apparel to include golf shirts, scarves, branded cup, coffee mugs, drinking bottles, coffee flasks and also car stickers.
“There is huge demand out there because people thought the new designs are already on the market but we expect it next week.
“Last year, we ordered 2 000 jerseys and all was sold out. Selling the 2 000 jersey within two months shows fans were buying in huge numbers and the market is there,” he said.
