Country Club Limbe (CCL) and golfers Imran Daudi and Levison Kapito will appear in the High Court in Blantyre on November 25 for a hearing on the golfers’ protest of the one-year ban the CCL imposed on them.

Daudi and Kapito are seeking an injunction to stop the CCL from implementing the suspension which was done after the two golfers allegedly misbehaved during an Old Mutual competition in August, arguing that they were suspended without being heard.

The golfers’ lawyer Steve Msiska told The Nation on Tuesday that the High Court has summoned the two parties to hear them out in chamber.

“I am in the process of serving the CCL with the High Court summons,” said Msiska.

CCL golf captain Ronwell Malikita could not be reached for comment on the matter on Wednesday.
