Chris Corner refurbished, reopens Friday
Conveniently situated halfway between the commercial capital Blantyre and the Mozambique border, the joint owner Chris Chilewe has invested over K10 million to bring ‘out of town’ fun.
On the official opening on Friday, Chilewe said various DJs will be in the house to give patrons dusk till dawn entertainment. The trump card is renowned Phyllip Kalindawalo, aka Phyl Touch.
“It’s refurbished to the state of some clubs in Blantyre and Lilongwe. We are aware of the gap that has been there and we fill it. Various mixers and fixers from Blantyre and Mulanje will be on spot,” said Chilewe.
Apart from braai and the upclass dance floor, Chilewe said patrons will also grasp a majestic view of the Mulanje Massif, touted as The Island in the Sky.
“Chitakale offers one of the best sites of the mountain. For travelers in the afternoon, our doors will still be open and there will be soothing music all the time,” said Chilewe.
